Nha Trang is in central of Vietnam, and it is located 1,278 km from Hanoi, 450 km from Sai Gon City, 630 from Hue, 105 km from Phan Rang, 260 km from Phan Thiet and 620 km from Can Tho. Nha Trang is a small town around 300,000 people and next to the Pacific Ocean. It is such a romantic city and a wonderful landscape.
Nha Trang has only two seasons. One is fall and other is summer. The weather is usually warm, and it is close to the South China Sea. Nha Trang has a beautiful beach which is a favorite vacation spot for well-off Vietnamese, and it is one of Vietnam's loveliest beaches. The beach looks like the crescent moon with white sand, and along the six km of beachfront it has coconut palm trees provide shelter. When the waves strike the rocks, you can hear the sound of the sea like a concert. Some of musicians and poets write a lot of songs and poems about Nha Trang beach, so I am very proud of it. People of Nha Trang like to sit on the beach and go swimming before the sun rises. If you go to the beach early in the mornings and evenings, you would find it as exciting as a shopping center. Between 5:00am to 7:00am Nha Trang beach is filled up with local people and tourists. Some people swim in the fresh sea water, other people play soccer, badminton or exercise. In Nha Trang, going to the beach is a family affair, and we often see generations of families going to the beach together. In the night time, young couples usually go to the beach and drink coffee or eat dinner at "Night Market".
The markets sell many kinds of fruit such as papayas, coconuts, grapes, strawberries ... all the tropical fruit, and you can eat before you buy. If you like to eat lobsters, oysters, and fresh crabs, we have all of them. You can go to any seafood restaurant beside the beach, and they are very cheap. Seafood and Vietnamese food taste so delicious at any restaurant in Nha Trang.
